Z-1 Mac Lethal

Mac Lethal (born David McCleary Sheldon) is a rapper from Kansas City, MO and of Irish descent. "Uncle Mac the Elephant" is often considered one of the most beastly rappers in the underground game. Mac Lethal was born David McCleary Sheldon on July 25, 1981. In 1998 he would go on to win several rap battles against local emcees from rival Kansas City high schools, and began to generate a buzz amongst the very small, tightly knit Kansas City underground hip-hop community. Mac entered the emcee battle at Scribble Jam hip-hop festival in August 2001 and took second place in the finals. He returned in 2002 and won the competition, and took second place in 2004. Sage Francis would later take Mac on the F*ck Clear Channel Tour in 2004. In 2006, Mac Lethal founded Black Clover Records with longtime friend Jeremy Willis. Mac Lethal hosts Black Clover Radio Hour on the Kansas City alternative station 96.5 The Buzz. It has aired every Sunday night since the end of 2005.Mac Lethal was one of the YouTube sensations, doing covers of popular songs with his own words. Most of which he demonstrated how fast he was able to rap. Mac Lethal is definitely the fastest rapper I have ever personally heard. I do not know any others who would be able to keep up with him. The video that really blew up was his cover of the song “Look At Me Now”, originally by Chris Brown, and Busta Rhymes. They pride themselves on doing what is known as speed rapping on that song. Lethal takes it to a whole new level of speed. The greatest part is that he raps about making pancakes. I think that is why people loved it so much. There are very few rappers that can do it like Lethal does. I would definitely check him out.
